Internship Position: Software Engineer

ENSCO's ATE Division supports a variety of railroad transportation activities to maintain and ensure safe rail systems for the Federal Railroad Administration and railroad companies by developing real-time, web-based products for use by railroad organizations.

ENSCO’s ATE Division also develops and designs measurement system for railroad inspections cars and R&D for the Federal Railroad Administration.

This position is for a student looking for an internship opportunity. The candidate will relate academic experiences with developing algorithms and software for complex measurement and inspection systems.

Hourly Rate/Salary: $15-$19 p/h

Start/ End Date: June –August

Preferred Major: CS or Math

G.P.A. Requirement: 3.0

Student Qualifications/Skills: Knowledge of applied mathematics, digital signal processing, image processing, object oriented software design, C/C++.

Other Software Skills – JAVA, J2EE, Scripting, SQL, UNIX environment, Web technologies, and/or Imaging technologies.
