Internship Position: Software Engineering Intern

Job Description: Hughes Network Systems is the global leader in providing broadband satellite networks and services for large enterprises, governments, small businesses, and consumers. The intern will participate in an ongoing project development team in the role of software engineer. The scope of responsibility will be consistent with the intern’s knowledge since no experience is expected or required.

Hourly Rate/Salary: to be determined at time of offer

Start/End Date: the position will be for the summer 2008 (June-August)

Preferred Major: Computer Science

G.P.A. Requirement: 3.0

Student Qualifications/Skills: Junior standing (completed sophomore year)

Comments: the position will be located at our Germantown Maryland office; the candidate will provide their own transportation and housing.
