Job Description:
Learn the ins and outs of web development working for a top 100 web company and a top 15 social media company. Webs.com was founded by two Maryland Alumni and is a proud 3rd year partner in the Corporate Scholars Program.

Hourly Rate/Salary:
$12-$20 p/h based on experience

Start/ End Date:
June 1 - mid August  

Preferred Major:
Computer Science

G.P.A. Requirement:
3.0

Student Qualifications/Skills:
Students applying should be familiar with HTML, Javascript, Java, and SQL. There will be lots of on the job training, but successful candidates will have already created websites on their own.

This is your chance to work at a fast paced web company with an amazing team of developers. We are innovative and cutting edge. There is no telling where this internship might lead. Last year, our Maryland intern helped develop Ruby on Rails web applications for our social publishing platform. And the year before, our Maryland intern helped create Warbook, one of the top-ranked games on Facebook, that was later spun off into a new social gaming company. This is a rare company in the area with a West coast culture including a fooz-ball table, breakfast every day and free meals 3 times a week.
