Bradford Sculpture
Bradford, executed in corten steel by noted American sculptor Lila Katzen, graces the front entrance of the Chemistry Building. The sculpture is a gift of the late University of Maryland Professor Emeritus George Snow and Mrs. Lila Snow.

This large, stunning piece is one of hundreds in the University of Maryland Irvin and Sally Freedman Gems and Minerals Museum located on the second floor of the Geology Building. Founded in 1983 with the collection of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin E. Freedman, the collection is the highest quality of any university in the nation.
