Words of wisdom for current and prospective students:
When you go to college, try to befriend as many people as possible. When giving advice, a lot of people will tell you to “meet” as many people as possible. I think it is more important to try and really understand someone and develop a relationship. It is your relationships with other people that will define how you feel about your college experience. Very few people will remember that mid-term that they took sophomore year or that one party that was so much fun. Friends will be there to help you when you’re down and to celebrate with you when you’re happy. No matter how much you accomplish, it will not be very satisfying if you don’t have anyone to share your happiness.
